Tartu JK Welco is an amateur football club that was founded in 2008 and by today it is participating in Estonia’s championships with three different teams. In 2015 Welco’s first team played in the II league and was fighting for the league victory. In perspective the ambitions for the first team are to improve results and step by step promote in Estonia’s league system. However, Welco is more than just a squad of football players – a very important part of club’s identity is shaped by fans who are always loyally and very lowdly supporting Welco’s teams. Named Electric Legion, the fan club is made up by players’ friends, girlfriends, brothers, sisters and parents. Furthermore, these tight relationships and numerous joint events have created one of the strongest shared identity among local amateur clubs. In addition, the club’s identity and operating is supported by many successful sponsors.
City Car has been Welco’s partner for years and in the future we are hoping together to accomplish even greater things!
